美国顶级名校常规阶段面试开启，这些问题和注意事项必须知道！
芝加哥大学：可以选择提交两分钟的视频来代替大学面试。
如哥伦比亚大学官网信息：可接受的视频聊天平台包括但不限于：Skype，FaceTime，Google Hangout，Zoom，Teams，WhatsApp，WebEx，BlueJeans，Duo（以及大多数类似的办公平台）。
不允许使用以下平台：Facebook，Instagram，Snapchat（以及大多数其他社交媒体或付费服务）。
How did you hear about our (college) and why are you interested in it?
What would your ideal college be like?
What prompted you to apply for our school?
How do you think your high school has prepared you for college?
What is it about the field you intend to major in that interests you?
What types of activities do you plan on being involved with during your college years?
What other schools are you applying to?

提前深入调研你要申请的美国大学，展示出自己对学校的兴趣。
提前准备好材料。熟悉自己的简历、essay中的内容，准备好可能会问的问题。
注意礼貌礼仪，着装得体；online面试一定提前调试好摄像头，保证镜头内背景不要太凌乱，同时不要有引起文化冲突的元素。
务必准时, 迟到会给人非常负面的第一印象。
清楚表达你的观点，在弄清楚面试官的问题前，不要轻率的作答。
巧用道具助兴。对于个人作品/奖项，如果能在恰当时机把作品集展示给面试官， 那效果则事半功倍。（尤其申请建筑艺术等专业）
准备几个问题来问面试官，问题不能是在网站上可以轻易找到答案的，例如“你们学校综合排名第几”这类的傻瓜问题。
结束后如果有面试官的邮件，可以发email表示感谢并强调自己对学校的兴趣。希望能够被录取，能够给招生官留下一个非常好的印象。
15-20min的面试，除了自我介绍这样的常规问题外，其他全是跟面试官互动过程中即兴产生的，非常个性化。所以大家一定要做好充分准备，建议好好把自己的 CV、写的 essay、推荐信里面的段子背熟，多多练习、表达和模拟。
30min的笔试，现场会需要学生提前准备好黑色签字笔，需要在答题纸上手写作答。

这个面试主要会涉及到平时学生的学业表现，个人兴趣，以及你对自己未来或对专业的规划选择，活动经历之类的信息，希望对候选人有更进一步的了解。

1. Describe the type of person you would like to fall in love with. What traits would they have? (20mins)
2. Imagine you are filling a time capsule to bury in your backyard to be opened one hundred years from now. What three things would you include in the capsule? You have 20 minutes to complete your answer.
3. What do you want to say to future students?
4. If you could have grown up in a different place and culture from your own, what culture would you choose? How do you think you would be different?
请提前到达面试地点/网上面试提前调试好设备（麦克风及摄像头），一定记得带上你的身份证件，如身份证或护照，及面试预约单；
面试官提出的问题一般是开放性问题，所以不必担心是否回答错误；
面试不会涉及到具体关于某所学校的问题，所以不用提前花太大精力准备针对学校的信息；
学生参加面试期间不允许携带手机、电脑等物品；
学生不允许携带自己的考试成绩单、辅助材料、获奖证书、视频等材料。
